A day-long bass workshop for young double bass students!!!
The workshop will present student-friendly information about double bass performance issues such as audition preparation, fingering and bowing techniques, and solo and orchestral master classes. We will also form bass ensembles in the afternoon and present a chamber music concert featuring students and faculty. In addition to myself, we are excited to have David Scholl as our guest artist this year. David is the Principal Bass of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra and teaches in Madison, WI. You can read more about him here.
The event is open to all bassists, and admission-free.
To participate, please complete the registration form.
Looking forward to seeing you.
